In order to demo the bat monitor developed as part of the Nature Smart Cities project, we created an artificial bat. This device emits ultrasonic bat calls, that get picked up and classified by the Echo Box. The result of the live classification process is displayed on a web based platform, by highlighting the type of bat most likely to have made the call.
